RETROFIT OF FILTER UNDERDRAIN TILE AND MEDIA

UNIFILT’s expansion into total “filter maintenance” facilitated the Borough of Elizabethtown to respond immediately to correct their blown filter problem. UNIFILT’s crew removed the existing filtering materials, demolished and removed existing underdrain tile, furnished new materials, and installed new Leopold clay tile underdrain blocks.

The work was completed in seven (7) working days, and the filter was back in operation. Mr. Gene H. Haldeman, Jr., was noted as saying “the quick service from UNIFILT was great, the problem was handled, and the filter is operating very well.”
